Little Lifts To Start The Day

Encouraging Words

Flatter me and I may not believe you,
Criticize me and I may not like you,
Ignore me and I may not forgive you,
me and I will never forget you.

Believing – (Self defeat)
The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is
too high and we fail, but that it is too low and we achieve it.

Overcoming Fears

Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new.
— Albert Einstein, 1879–1955
German born American Physicist

Fear of making a mistake can prevent us from starting
something we really want to accomplish. Our hesitation
to begin can be a need to make it perfect, fear of failure,
or rejection. We may do nothing—or procrastinate, assuming
that it won’t be good enough.

Many great achievers experience more setbacks than success.
At 16, Einstein failed his entrance exam for the prestigious
Federal Polytechnic School in Switzerland. He failed the
non-science subjects and did especially poor in French.
A year later, on his second attempt, he passed.

Some so-called experts and professors thought this true genius
would never amount to anything significant. What if Einstein
would have believed them?
